NUCLEAR POWER

Hugh Perry

Working in the engineering of new buildings I am well aware of the thirst for electrical energy and the lack of consideration of its waste.

For any country that can provide it and not do so, leads to lost negotiating power in the global arena. Therefore nuclear will be with us indefinitely no matter what the devastating affects.

So it is my opinion that to put up an offensive against the inevitable it non productive. Instead all efforts should be focused on demanding solutions to waste disposal. Generally it is a given that there are non, but focusing only on that issue will awaken the world to the most crucial problem and then like tobacco, nuclear will be no more.
